P85 for L2 spouse?
Hello all, we are in the process of completing our P85 forms as we are leaving the UK on Wednesday.
Mine is pretty strait forward as i have a new full-time job in the US.
However my wife, who will be working self-employed as a costume maker as she does in the UK hopefully eventually but cannot do so until her EAD comes through, which will take at least three months.
So im unsure of what to put on the P85 forms for her as far as employer, and whether she will be working full time?
Anyone come across this and got some advice?
Thanks
Gareth

P85 is basically a form to tell UK tax office you have no UK taxable income.
Write "None".
