Outsourcing tutoring?

"It comes at a difficult time for the U.S. education system: only two-thirds of teenagers graduate from high school, a proportion that slides to 50 percent for black Americans and Hispanics, according to government statistics."
Disgraceful.

What do they do at school if they need a tutor too?

Everything will be outsourced soon.
There are already a couple of test McDonalds restaraunts in which the only people around are the cooks. You order stuff from a touch screen. Soon walmart will have no checkout operators, just rows of self checkout lines.

Want me to have a rant about it? Nothing. Why do you think that homeschooling is so big over here? Because many parents realized it years ago.

I'm not sure you understand what outsourced means  your examples are technology replacing people.......outsourcing is the movement of the person to a (usually) cheaper location, employed by a separate company.

McDonald's though is also piloting outsourcing whereby the drive-through operator sits in a call centre in Indian and relays the order back to the restaurant.
