I wish they would nest outside my window, would be a great sight. I don't understand why anyone would want their nest destroyed. Big shame.

This story was a major news item in the media here last night (New York metro area).
Mary Tyler Moore lives in an apartment there and was shown crying on the television cameras. It really is a crying shame...

Story reminds me of the Peregrine Falcons who became celebrities in Pittsburgh, PA after they made a nest atop the Gulf Tower in downtown Pittsburgh (company I worked for in mid-90s had HQ in the Gulf Tower).
