being there this time of year.....sorry ....a bit off topic.....LOL!

Lisa

Actually Lisa, Jim's Uncle Alexander Wilson was coach of the Notre Dame Football Team for a while. He was also a radio personality in the 30's when he was in Notre Dame as a student. His Aunt Mame (yes that is her name) is still alive and well and living in Champlain, VT in the summer and in Amarrilo, Texas in the winter.

Cute story about the Wilsons you might enjoy. All the men share the first name of James. The middle names are chosen to honor a relative and if they live close to one another they are called by their middle names rather than their first names.

For example, Jim is James Alexander (named after the above Uncle) and Jim's son is James George (named after Jim's father's brother) and his grandson is James Stacey (named about Jim's youngest son who drowned at age 6). So when we are together it can be confusing but it is Jim, Jimmy and Stacey ;-)
And none of those men come to the table late for dinner.

Yes, BTW, Jim liked living in South Bend. He was too young to remember much of Maine but when he was 9 his parents allowed his grandmother to take him for a few years in her extensive travels so that he could and experience life in different parts of the US. South Bend was the place they called home while going by train to various parts of the US for weeks at a time.
