I don't know if writing checks is any better than EFT. I just find it easier to keep my own records if I have hardcopies of everything. Personal preference.... though I do pay a couple of recurring bills using EFT.
I do a lot of shopping (go to the grocery 3-4 times a week) and I always write checks. I also pay most of my bills with checks.
I suppose I'm archaic after all.....

And just what category is Joyce and I in, pray tell.
We are certainly not in the Over-The-Hill Gang quite yet and while we can't do battle with the 20 somethings for the cover of Sports Illustrated don't count either of us out for holding our own in a single's atmosphere with any over the age of 35 year olds in the crowd.
I may have been around a block or two but there is a still the rest of the world I have to cover before I can be called old.
