Default Orange County residents

Hey!
Hopefully moving for a sales job on h-1 in August time.
Was wondering what everybody's opinions were of people they've met from Orange. I only know young professionals and students in Long Beach and found them confident (arrogant?) but very friendly. I hear orange county residents tend to be a bit stuck up, not meaning to generalize of course.
Any past experiences please feel free to let me know
thanks alot!
James

At a guess you're talking about Orange county in California.

If you're talking about the one in Massachusetts, they'd be a little hippy or inbred.

....or the Orange County in FL, where they are all......sunburned, baldy, heavily tattooed British tourists.

Whereabouts in the OC are you moving to? Having lived in Irvine for 8 years, I honestly think you get the same variety in peoples' attitudes as you do wherever you go. The greater confidence of young people here though rings true, probably due to the way kids are brought up here - I already see it in my 4-yo daughter who was born and raised here.

Long Beach isn't in Orange County.

I find it all depends where in Orange County one is, I find the wealthier area's to be more arrogant and not as friendly, but mileage will vary and others may find the area different.

I personally would never live North of San Diego/Orange County line, but thats just me...

I'm split between the two! I work during the week in La Jolla and spend my weekends in Irvine. FWIW, I agree with the wealthier areas being more arrogant but thought it not PC to mention...

Hi we moved to the OC California 4 years ago. To date I still find people here stuck up, self obsessed and no clue of the real world. Dying to find some real people to have a belly laugh with. If you want any more info of life in oc feel free to ask take care
