I think I'm becoming more and more distant to things going on in the UK. Not really an excuse though for forgetting your mums birthday is it. Especially since I'd sent a card for my nieces birthday on the 11th. Oh well, guess I'm making a trip to Hallmark for a "sorry I missed" card.

It's not appropriate for Mums (unless you're in the habit of buying your mum lingerie for her birthday), but Figleaves.com has a most excellent solution - the "Blame it on us" service:
