Without the bad years, you won't recognize the good years. The calendar moves by much too quickly for me to want to speed it up.

I agree, some years have been better than others, but as long as we stay healthy with a roof over our heads I haven't had a bad one yet.

Yeah, it's always a good thing to remind ourselves that we are a 'lot better off than some'.

Shall we just have a 'virtual' new years eve party in the knobs and knockers tonight and start 2010 tomorrow early? or whenever we wake up
