I was looking at ordering some stuff online for Christmas and 'the holidays', and there is a real myriad of stores out there, all offering a lot of the same stuff, and I haven't had any real experience with any of them.

So, do any of you have a real favourites you'd recommend, or any you wouldn't touch with a bargepole? Good experiences, or bad?

I ordered all the chrissy stuff (advent calendars, puddings, sauces, crackers, chocolate stockings, quality street, mince pies etc) so we'll see how it turns out

I'm not a fan of the online stores personally. I buy all my stuff from a World Market that's at my local mall. It's always a good bet for Brits that don't have specialised markets close to them

there's also been a few threads i the past with recommendations, but sometimes it depends on where you live, as there's a place in Boston that's pretty good if you live in the NE area, not quite so good if you live further afield because of postage.

Where in Boston Bob as I am from MA??? I know of a place in Plymouth but don't often travel down there.

I think the OP might be most interested in where to order chipolotas online.

I seem to recall there was a place in North Carolina, I think, that sold them and shipped them packed in dry ice.

Any suggestions on the chipolata front would be greatly appreciated.

I used to use this company until one time I got all my stuff delivered and then some weeks later they decided to take some extra shipping charge from my credit card, never got any reply to various e-mails so screw em I go elsewhere..

try goodwoods.com, I've used them in the past and never had any problems with them, they're based in Texas which is pretty central to most people..
