Default OMG! Just felt an earthquake!

The house just shook, sounded like upstairs was rocking then it went through the whole house. Nothing broken, not to serious. Thta's all well and good, now I have to worry about another one.

Thanks guys.

I've put the TV on and it's on the news. Don't know if it's a quake or an aftershock or anything yet. It's scarey! We're only just over the Tsunami warning we had a few days ago!

Same here ... everything shook for about 4 seconds! Not as bad as the one a few days ago ... that lasted longer and really freaked me out as I had never experienced it before. Suddenly saw all those movies in my mind and thought the ground was going to open up and swallow me ... :scared:

I'm home alone today and didn't have TV or anything on so I really felt it and heard it. Sounded like upstairs was being broken into or something, I was more scared when I didn't know what the banging noise was. When the mirror down here started to shake on the wall I felt better!

It's weird though.

The noise is pretty amazing though. I never knew that quakes were so noisy.

And I now know why all the DIY stores sell that putty to stick your ornaments down with!

The last one was a 5.6 and my husband laughed at me for being scared, as he said it was just a baby ... do you know what this one was?
