Actually we did have an iron at home, it was for emergencies!!! We used to throw a towel down on the floor & iron on that. Yes, we were ghetto! Single Mum, 4 kids, no help, ironing was the least of her problems!

Lost my British passport just before my last trip home so had to travel with my US one which has been washed and the cover is coming off. so stuck at Heathrow in the long non Brit line, finally get to the front and this job worth bitchy woman is all "what is that?"
