Default OJ's Book and Interview Cancelled

Fox cancels publication of OJ's Book and interview due to public pressure. I am pleased that both have been cancelled, but a piece of me was hoping he would say something to put the noose around his neck.

Same. Was hoping he'd say/do something that could be used against him in federal court (since he can't be tried again in state court), but also happy that this is cancelled. I felt ill knowing he was going to pocket more money.

Even if he had said something, he would claim that he wouldn't get a fair trial so it would be dropped yet again. How many times cane someone get away with murder?

I just added a link to my original post...there was nothing available on the net when the story first broke on TV.

Me too. I guess he's already got his hands on the money for the book rights.

Although I am not an attorney, I don't think he could be tried again for murder in any court due to the Constitutional spectre of double jeopardy, even if it could somehow be considered a federal case (a stateline crossing? involvement of a bank, post office...?) I think the only hope that he has not entirely gotten away with it is the successful lawsuit brought by the victims' families and the continued pressure these families are putting on him through the media.

He could be tried in Federal court, but it's more of a challenge to get a Fed court to hear the type of charges that might be applied to him. The double jeopardy applies to the state (California). There is an outside chance that a Federal court would hear a perjury case, if he said something very incriminating. By moving to Florida and changing his place of residence he will likely live out his life without paying anyone a cent, or facing any other charges (unfortunately).
