The American remake of the Office is on this evening. Who'll be watching it?

I've never seen the British version but I will try and watch the opening episode of the American version.

I have read reviews of the US version but I'm not saying anything...

I'm going to watch it (if I remember). Some of the clips at NBC.com were funny, others not so funny, but I didn't cringe at any of the clips like I did when watching the original.

I am going to watch it tonight. I know the americans will hate the series initially but its whether anyone will give it a few episodes chance. Most shows here get taken off air pretty soon if they dont fair well. I thought the UK versions was excellent lets see how the US one compares. (I just hope they dont try and explain the jokes to the audience, that would be a shame)

I've now watched lots of clips of it - they don't try to explain anything - it's exactly the way it's done in the UK

I think it will be ok.
however like most of the shows I like over here it will be cancelled mid season only to be aired on bravo at 3pm when I can never watch it.

I still can't believe the fu.ckers have bastardized Fever Pitch and turned it into a Red Sox bonanza.

I didn't like it...but the guy does depict middle manager USA rather well...
First episode aside, as it has done the rounds for a couple months now, I'll give it a go for a couple episodes, well the other episodes anway, but I don't see it lasting more than a few episodes before it'll get canned, most of the comedy remakes get canned because they just didn't work.

Its on the local ABC tonight, all set to record, yes the original had to some real cringe moments, but I can think of some real life analogies unfortunately.

I saw an interview with Gervais when he was asked about selling out, he pointed out that ABC had paid them a lot of money
