Even though entitlements are what your entitled to.

For example we pay unemployment taxes and are therefore entitled to unemployment benefits when applicable.

Yea absolutely. You are legally entitled to it, and in some cases actually paid for it, but when you ask for it they make you feel like your on benefits. If you ask for it with a foreign accent they think you're trying to steal from them.
