Oh, and while I'm here, something really stupid, but amusing, and the missus thought it was great, the Eurovision song contest, with all the cheese...thought having something similar would be fun, cheesy nationwide states thingy :)

And about songs...there doesn't seem to be the same fun and hype about the number one at x-mas time over here, which is a shame, that was fun, except when blobby made it *lol*

I'll start, I like ketchup and mayo with chips and stuff, which certainly gets' weird looks over here :)
But what I find weird, and this could be just a new england thing, they serve maple syrup with gammon ham steaks and sausages, I get very weird looks when asking for ketchup with the bangers.

Also, tea, everytime I offer, people expect herbal tea or that chai stuff, and have it either plain, with lemon and or sugar, and look aghast when it's plain ole PG tips served with milk.....anyone else get that?

I have a friend who tries to be very british when she drinks "tea" so has milk in it - all very well when she's with me drinking PG tips, but Lemon zinger with milk seems a little odd !!!

An American friend, right?

I had a weird experience in a Japanese restaurant in Charleston, SC. The waitress there asked me if I wanted milk in the Japanese tea!

 She needs to work a little less on 'being British', and a little more on enjoying the tea.

Now that would be interesting....

Oh, another thing, while talking food...well around here at least, I've yet to see a chinese restaurant provide chopsticks...and the meals, well there very different and they can't pronounce things properly...still good food, but certainly different...

Sorry to be the one to break it to ya Bob , but (and i'm thinking of my kids bike here) not everybody is a law abiding citizen like you an' me...if Sams Club let them rob them blind that'd mean higher prices for us...inconvenience at the check out is ...er....cheaper!! lol ;) :D
