Obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate in Texas
 

Hi,

By the time I move back to the UK, I will have lived in Houston for a year. The jobs I will be applying for, require me to have police clearance dating back for 10 years.

Does anybody know how I go about obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate from Texas? I haven't broken any laws here, or had any involvement with the police, so it should be straight forward.

I thought it would be best to obtain the document whilst living here, but perhaps I should wait until I return to the UK?

I see why I wasn't getting any joy with my web search. I kept typing Police Clearance Certificate instead of Criminal Background Check!
