Yep, our Swiss-exchanged-from-UK ones - practically French, right? - were irrelevant in AZ; we had to do all the same tests as spotty teens.

I always felt really sorry for the americans arriving in France - unless they came from a state that had this reciprocal agreement regarding license exchange the poor buggers had to sit the french driving test - which is horrible, expensive and has to be done in french.
