Hi all. My wife has been out of the U.S.A. for 4 years, but she is an American citizen. Will she be eligible for Obama care when she returns to Florida this year?

Immigration into the US (or even moving between states) is a qualifying event to make use of the healthcare market place outside of open enrollment periods.

In addition to what I wrote above, I wanted to clarify a point. Assuming you arrive on a valid immigrant visa, then you will be eligible to use the marketplace too.

I'd also be interested to know if I'll be eligible for Obama care. I'll be entering the country on a spouse visa with permanent residency, as we have been married over 2 years.
