As far as I am aware, there are NO flights operating between the USA and the UK that
allow smoking, I'm afraid. Fortunately, I quit smoking 3 years ago after my second
visit to the US.

Virgin Atlantic is non-smoking too. Although some idiot decided to have a quick
smoke in the toilets and threw his still smouldering cigarette end into the waste.
What an idiot!

I believe that Aeroflot and Emirates are the only airlines that still have
smoking sections,

You have to do like I did when traveling to RP. Get the patch and some gum and
lots of life savers hard candy etc. Its a bitch but the patch really helps takes
the edge off.

Course you could have what happened to me, and have a 9 hour takeoff delay after
clearing customs in a no-smoking airport, and not being allowed back out to smoke,
then a 22 hours flight......

thank God i got to smoke outside at LAX before connection to Phoenix 32 hours later,
otherwise the first thing i said to my love might have been as prosaic, as: 'im
gasping.. quick lets get outside so i can have a smoke...'

LOL! Even I'd need a smoke if I travelled with Aeroflot and I've never smoked
in my life.

The only smoking carrier into the US is Aeroflot, by special permission from the FAA
