How far into the visa process are you? It's 6-10 months to get usually.
How long a employer is willing to wait entirely depends on the sector and seniority of the person, or if they have specialist skills.
Some places might be willing to wait 6 months for the right person, some places wouldn't be willing to wait till the end of the next day.

The 3 month notice period often turns out to be negotiable when the time comes.
