Probably a good job I never tried making them, I'd probably have killed everyone

Never thought about the lining in the cans...oh well...plenty of tuna cans though....hmmmm

Pork pies. Went back to the UK in March and my brother, who's a butcher, had made gala pie, pork pie with a boiled egg in the middle. I couldn't get enough of the stuff. If I could have stuffed my pockets with them before I flew home I would have!

Most of the other stuff I like I can get at the local supermarket, Marmite, Jelly Babies, Heinz tinned puddings, etc. My USC wife loves the Yorkshire pudding mixture as well.

Hey, does anyone know if Quorn vegetarian meals are available in the USA? I'm a little addicted them, and will miss them if they're not available

And does anyone know where Brit food could be found near Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale, Florida? We'll be heading there next year, so would be good to know.

I think so, there are certainly loads of similar products of meh....though the Morning Star range are pretty good.

Yes, Quorn is available at various places, Whole Foods have a good range.

BUT I would seriously take a look at Field Roast products, they are awesome and they do a product around Christmas which is similar to a Beef Wellington in appearance but it's really really good.

No we have Hannaford and Shaws. Hannaford just discontinued their PG tips so I'm not happy! I would love some real Heinz beans on toast. The thing is, the bread here is different also somehow...

If you have Cub foods anywhere near you they stock both PG Tips, and Heinz beans.

Look for sliced white Italian, it comes pretty close to English white bread.
