Default North Carolina Babysitting agencies/ doula ??

HI,

We have recently moved to North Carolina from Leicester UK, I am curently 8months pregnant, Our problem is cos we have a 3 year old son and I was considering the options on what to do with him when I go In labour. Has anyone used, recommend or not recommend the Babysitting services that are on offer via agencies on the internet??

We are very nervous to leave our son alone with a stranger, he has only ever been left with family and they are all in the uk.

Or Option 2 is my husband stays with our son, and I do it alone, or has anyone hired a Doula in NC that they would recommend????

Thank you

Emma

Have you decided on a hospital yet? If so, contact that hospital for suggestions.

Hi,

I'm due to give birth at the presbyterian hospital in charlotte, I spoke to my doctor and he said that children can wait outside the suite with an adult only until after the birth and they have no facilities for children.

Not very helpful really

Try asking someone else.

I looked at this page for the hospital:

There's a number for "Care Connection". This may be part of the hospital or some organization associated with it. Try calling them for resources or for suggestions about whom can give you the information you're after.
