How are you enjoying living there?

I had terrible culture shock for about the first 12 months. Wasn't expecting a lot of things, not least that it was in the middle of the bible belt and folks up that way aren't used to foreign accents. People used to stop me all the time so they could hear me speak (something my hubby doesn't do :lol:)

I did love it up that way though. Charlotte's ok but very spread out and I miss the slower pace of life W-S/Thomasville way.

I am enjoying it but can also identify with the culture shock.
The accent thing is funny.

I can't believe there is another town with a giant chair!!!
