Hi:

Last year I was on vacation in Germany and got to talking with a fellow my age who had grown up in the GDR and I asked what it was like -- he actually missed it. After a while, he started ragging on Dubya and I responded -- "I voted against him -- twice." He shook my hand.

Not uncommon among the older generation.

Me too. I think Obama should have stood aside to let her do her thing, by the time she was done he would have the 'experience' most people think he's lacking and meanwhile all this in-fighting wouldn't have been giving McCain free ammo. I don't see how undermining your own side helps matters.

When should he have stood aside?

Surely if anyone should stand aside now it should be Clinton.

I certainly agree with all the in-fighting helping McCain.

I think Hilary should step aside. This is going to drag on to the bitter end and no one will want to see a Democrat in the White House after months of in-fighting. The Democratic Convention will end with the usual happy-clappy, "it was all a bit of fun, honest, Guv, we really love each other" crap. Which no one will buy into.
