Nightclub/bar side of life in USA

hi i currently own a nightclub in the uk but with the present climate (smoking ban has done me no favours) being not too good, i feel like i want a change so im putting out some feelers about moving to USA
is there any possibilities i could use my knowledge in this field to get some sort of employment etc in the nightclub/bar field.

Read this link and decide if you fit any of the categories for immigration to the US.

From what you've said so far, the answer is NO, unless you have the cash to buy a nightclub or bar business over here.

Our trend is to go towards non-smoking also - Illinois just went smoke-free (including bars) Jan 1.

Ohio is smoke free in all enclosed public areas and outdoor public areas where a door of a public building opens onto them. Or something crazy like that. Oh, public areas include company cars and a whole bunch of other things.

Illinois requires no smoking within 15 feet of a door, or a window that is capable of opening.

you'll find the same issues with running a club over here in many states...you'll have slim chances of finding a sponsor, so you'd have to have a stack of readies and set your own business up...

I don't think you have a clue. Where don't you want to establish and nightclub/bar? You've asked the same question to open one in Spain, Portugal, the Caribbean, NZ, Oz and Dubai....
