Nice places to live near Bethlehem, PA?
 

I should be receiving my ex-pat contract this week and assuming everything is good will be going out to spend a week looking for accomodation asap.

Does anybody know good places to live up to 30mins away from Bethlehem? Some initial pointers would be good so we dont waste time.

PS: Am I correct in assuming none of our electrical goods will work in the US? :blink:

Computers will....anything with a adapter if duel voltage will with a new plug.

Most things, kitchen stuff especially just isn't worth it.

As for locations, no idea, but city-data.com might be a good starting point.

Get the company to hook you up with a realtor, will help you out loads, especially if you've got kids.

If you want to get out the way, The poconos is nice this time of year . Lots of skiing/boarding in winter. Ive heard Allentown isn't so hot now days. West phiilly ? Where are you working in Bethlehem anyway ?

I believe Nazareth is only 7 miles down the road as well...............

Allentown is shit.

The discovery museum at the girls college is quite nice and they often have coupons for free races at the poke though.
