New York / Manhattan
Will be coming to NY in a couple of weeks to get enrolled and started at work for a week before returning to UK to finally wrap things up and then come out 'for good'.
I was just wondering, for one person who needs to be near midtown for one week, traveling light and needed only real basic functional room to stay in, anyone have any recommendations?
I saw The Pod Hotel and wondered if that would do as minimal one person roof over head for a week?
Any other ideas? I'm going to look on airbnb too.
I'm handling this cost and not a holiday so looking for something adequate but zero frills required. Maybe just no mould, rats or burglars.

Is your employer a subscriber/member of Club Quarters? They have several locations in Midtown and are cheaper than most decent hotels.

I stayed at a Citizen M in Amsterdam and it was fabulous. Tiny rooms, but really fun. https://www.citizenm.com/destination...s-square-hotel
