back in blighty, normally getting pissed up with mates and dancing in the streets 
back here, do bugger all, nothing happens and to skint to get booze...and I think the missus is working the first...so who knows, that might be changing....

Wife and I are attending the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment NYE ball @ the Hyde Park barracks in Knightsbridge.
It is a great time. Cheap pints subsidised by the government.
It is also nice because you can leave your camera or purse laying around with no worries of it being swiped.
