Smile New in St Louis...help me........

Moved with my american wife to St Louis ( Kirkwood) six months ago, am a born and bred Londoner, having lived there for all of my 43 years. Although I have found Newcastle Brown, Guiness and english malt vinegar, have not found a decent hang out where I can absorb second hand smoke, watch footie and enjoy the british sense of humour.....can anyone help?.

Hi David,

I also moved to the St. Louis area 6 months ago form England, it takes some time to get used to it doesn't it? When the world cup was on me and my american hubby went to a bar called Schlafly's near Union Station in St. Louis. It was fun they have the TV screens up and there were at least 10 other UK couples there when I watched the game, they also have good food, with the real thick chips from back home not those stick thin fries!! I think they only play the big footie games though.

Hope you didn't have too much trouble with snow and ice the other day! Here in Edwardsville we had 6 inches of snow, I lost power for just less than 24 hours.
