just surfing all the quality shows, and stumbled across a show with all the old 'has beens' revived and sounding dreadful. did anyone see it...if so, was the chap hosting it, off emerdale...?? bugging me...

They don't copy it as such. The Brits sell it complete with format, titles, set design etc to the Americans though as least in the first series the prods remain English. That's why American Idol has the same set up as Pop Idol.
