Exclamation New route to Manchester with Delta: CHEAP FARES!

Just spotted an ad in today's New York Times.

Delta is offering new routes to Manchester, Dublin and Shannon beginning May 15 from New York JFK airport.

Details:

Tickets are $159 each way to Manchester, Dublin and Shannon

Fares must be purchased by Jan 23rd.

Travel for all destinations must be completed by July 15th (remember that the service begins on May 15th).

Additional taxes, fees, restrictions apply and fares shown are available only from delta.com or a travel agent.

Low fare Delta deals to these and other destinations are at:

That would be great if I lived in New York, know of anything on the West Coast?

Always nice for BE members to be kept aware of what is going on but unfortunately it does not work out cheaper than US Air, CLT to LGW. I only booked this week-end as well.

Mainly because they all get on the band wagon when one starts a sale-it's a domino effect.

Useful but the Tax man decided to get greedy and bumped it up into the $500+pp

The cost of flights form CLT to LGW is terrible. If you want a straight through flight there is not competition and US Air can charge just about what they want.

I prefer the direct route as I am fed up with having to change at Newark or
Philadelphia. I agree it would be nice if they had some competition although they were still the cheapest airline when I used FB's suggestion, kayak.com. This link also is very good for sorting out car hire.
