I know at least a couple of members who live in SC. They are smartiegirl88 and Tony126.
I live in NC and am one of many members living in your neighboring state. I took a vacation in Charleston in the summer and I won't forget the humidity.
Hope you'll visit often and post your comments.

Thanks for the welcome Im near to Myrtle Beach SC, right in the heart off the Spring and Fall Harley rally weeks
I married an American guy, last year, my hubbys Mom comes from NC (southport). Chareston is a beautyful place, the humidity is high here also at the beach.

Not been to Myrtle Beach yet but I want to avoid it when it's in full swing (if there's such a time).
First time I visited the beach (properly) in the US was on Hunting Island near Beaufort, SC. Very nice area but killer of a day to visit (the humidity zapped us both after walking about for an hr).

MB is quiet this time off year, we get the snow birds here after the New Year, (people from Canada upper states). The weather and humidity I can stand just about, what I hate is this air conditioning, I like opening windows and letting fresh air in.
How can I stop getting e mails every time someone post a reply, looked in FAQ but can't find a solution. Thanks
