Welcome Chrissey! We have our fun, share our miseries, good fortune, tales and happenings. Basically a supportive bunch until some of us discover which cooking stock will best compliment you once you are in the cooking pot.

Welcome Chrissey!

I know at least a couple of members who live in SC. They are smartiegirl88 and Tony126.

I live in NC and am one of many members living in your neighboring state. I took a vacation in Charleston in the summer and I won't forget the humidity.

Hope you'll visit often and post your comments.

Thanks for the welcome Im near to Myrtle Beach SC, right in the heart off the Spring and Fall Harley rally weeks

I married an American guy, last year, my hubbys Mom comes from NC (southport). Chareston is a beautyful place, the humidity is high here also at the beach.

You've automatically become a member of the UK-US couple Carolina Club. My spouse is American too.

Not been to Myrtle Beach yet but I want to avoid it when it's in full swing (if there's such a time).

First time I visited the beach (properly) in the US was on Hunting Island near Beaufort, SC. Very nice area but killer of a day to visit (the humidity zapped us both after walking about for an hr).

MB is quiet this time off year, we get the snow birds here after the New Year, (people from Canada upper states). The weather and humidity I can stand just about, what I hate is this air conditioning, I like opening windows and letting fresh air in.

How can I stop getting e mails every time someone post a reply, looked in FAQ but can't find a solution. Thanks

Goto "My Profile" then "Edit Options" ... you can unclick the option that otherwise sends you email everytime someone posts a response in your thread(s).

Only sends one for the last response if your session has timed out, or your logged of, if your still here, then it'll send you an email each time someone has posted...

Bob .. I never "log out" ... seems to destroy my cookie that lets me relogin without having to enter my name and password. I just close the window if when I "log out" ... my cookie or whatever it is seems to survive that way.
