I got a new job! Shock. It's in the IT industry. Shock horror, I applied at a job website! Just when you say there are no IT jobs and job websites are useless, it turns out opposite!

If it is as an IT guy then there are plenty of jobs as this is a rotating position. IT guys at companies jump from company to company at the same rate I change underwear and as such it is easy to find a job as a company IT guy. IT guys are two a penny. It is the High Tech industry that is suffering, software developers, testers and such. IT, you might as well be a bus driver!

Might have helped that the sister of the guy who interviewed me married an English guy!
It's low level tech support with QA and systems development on the horizon, just what somebody with hardly any experience needs. It's in the healthcare industry, looks like thats the place to look for IT jobs now!
