They would, but not at all practical, which why an Explorer would be the perfect compromise.

Alternatively you could instead adopt the Pulaski family compromise: Honda Accord + Ford F250 crew cab (aka a really "big ass pick-up truck") + Mustang GT. All bases are covered!

I do. .... I took it through the car pool line this morning (as I do every morning) to drop off little Miss P.
Well you'd have to upgrade the brakes too, of course.
