New here with a question
Hi all,
My name's Lucy and I'm originally from Cornwall- lived in the US for seven years now. I am married with two little boys, and I work for a British newspaper here in San Diego. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know of anywhere that sells poppies for Remembrance Day? I haven't been able to find any online (but my search did bring me here!) Preferably in San Diego, but if I could get one online that would also be great. I have an elderly friend here who is British and I think it would mean a lot to her. So cool finding this forum! They have poppy day here.....................Usually outside of the large grocery stores........................Well they do in Idaho
Poppys are usually sold here for Memorial Day which is at the end of May. I don't think they sell them for Veterans Day (Rememberence Day). I might be wrong....... |

Is it really beyond the capability of most grown adults to actually "make" a half decent poppy themselves?
