Default New British shop in Columbia, SC

I haven't visited it yet, but a co-worker told me about a shop selling British groceries opening in Columbia. It is called Lil's Olde English Shoppe (I know, I know) and is located at 599 Whaley Street, just off Huger. Their phone number is (803) 233-7513 and their website is www.lilsonline.com. Thought some folks here might be interested.

Thanks for the tip. I live in Columbia. I went to World Market this past weekend and bought Heinz baked beans, Cadbury Flake, including the new dark bar - very good, and pickled onions. I wonder if Lil's has Oxo?

PS: At World Market the Cadbury choc bars are imported from Australia, and the Flakes are from Canada! So I presume it's not "the real thing."

Dunno, but if they don't, their website has a thread specifically for product suggestions.

Australian Cadbury's is more like the US version...Cadbury's from NZ tastes just like British chocolate. Not sure about Canadian...I usually check that it's made in the UK and in the Toronto area it normally is.

Excellent news! Thanks for sharing. We're down in Charleston, but make the 1+ hour drive up to Columbia every now and then.

Now if there were only somewhere in South Carolina to get a decent cup of tea.......
