He bought his ticket to the UK 48 hourse before they found the bodies, he could easily have done it.

I don't know. But if it does that would explain why he ran to the UK after committing the murders. It would seem unlikely that he would be extradicted if the criminal charges and conviction included the death penalty.

There's no death penalty in MA, so I think he'll be extradicted without much hassle....unless the feds get involved, but I don't see how they can do that here.
I think the feds can only get involved if there was an interstate element to the crime. This happened recently with the case of Donald Fell, who kidnapped someone in VT, drove them across to NY and murdered them there. Fell was charged and convicted with 1st degree murder in a Federal court in Vermont, and sentenced to death, under federal law. It produced an uproar in Vermont, as the consensus in the state is very much anti-death penalty. This crime is different though, as it was wholly committed in MA.
