Neighbourhood profiles/ property prices

IS there any website in the US that gives general advice on areas, city and most importantly how house prices have gone up and down for cities in the US?

In england they have http://www.upmystreet.com/ and it is very helpful but i yet to find anything for US yet?

Try www.zillow.com but you may need an actual address
