Need help!!! I94 entry date??
I entered US as a F1 student on Aug 31 1997. My I94 was stamped as "Aug 2X 1997". Is this stamp wrong? How do I correct this if so? Thanks for help.

Do you have proof of the date? If you have something like an airline boarding pass,
you simply hang on to it.
Why does the exact date of your entry matter anyway? I don't think it would be even
worth bothering with it.
