name change after marriage
Hi all,
I came to USA on a work visa 3 years ago, and whilst here, I met a USA citizen and married him. Now I want to change my name but Social Security say I have to change it with immigration. Any ideas how I do that?
Cheers

In that case, leave your SS card name the same as your passport/visa name for now. When you start the green card process, fill out the forms using your married name, so that your green card will be issued in your married name. You can then use the green card in your married name to change your SS name.
