My UK Mail in liquidation
I received an email this morning letting me know the company would no longer be trading. Anyone have any reasonably priced UK mail forwarding suggestions?
Email as follows for anyone interested:
To whom it may concern
My UK Mail Limited t/a BPS Logistics – proposed creditors’ voluntary liquidation
In view of difficult trading conditions the Company ceased trading on 22 June 2016 and is to be placed into creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 20 July 2016. BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency have been instructed to deal with this matter. As a creditor of the Company, BRI will be writing to you in due course with the relevant documentation but I attach a PDF version of the documentation to this email.
Should you believe your mail is being held by the Company it will not be forwarded on. Eventually any mail being held will be returned to sender but I am unable to provide a timescale for this. In respect of future services you will need to make alternative arrangements.
Finally, and if you have a credit on your account, this will be an unsecured claim in the proposed liquidation.
Kind regards
Jocelyn Gilbert

Ha! I was just looking at them. They seem to be the cheapest for people who only receive a small amount of mail. They said there is an additional charge for mailing outside the UK and that you top that fund up in a minimum of 25 pound increments. Other than that, just the membership fee.

They emailed me saying postage to the US was at cost, no additional fees. Strange.
-------------
I gave them the link to this page and asked them to explain. If I hear anything I will let you know. So far they look like a good choice for low volume users.

They told me earlier 'If you would like your post sent overseas you will need to pay a mail deposit from either £25, £50 or £100. This is what we deduct the forwarding charges from. It will be the Royal Mail prices which we get when we visit the post office'.

Royal Mail forwarding to the US is 200 a year and is very hit and miss, a lot of stuff, in my experience, never arrived

Don't you just address it to the u.s. postage on it and drop it in the mailbox then in the UK and it comes to the US
