What I love most is about my DVD recorder (cyberhome DVR 1600)is that it plays back several formats including the avi, mpeg stuff I download from UKNova. I found the hack to convert it to a multi-region player and we are set.
It cost us $ 90 at Best Buy and we took out a four year warranty for another $ 50 because of the negative reports from many about this brand, mainly on this website ?! It includes an annual cleaning and considering, it's not a bad price for a product which will work for us for the next four years!!
