English, surprisingly.
Seriously though, French and to a lesser extent, German are much more common second languages. I speak a little of both after doing them in school.

Well if you want to live somewhere rural and warm, you would have to live either in Nevada, Florida, Arizona, Texas or California, California is very expensive, i on the other hand cannot wait to get back to the UK, rain and all, been here in the US for 30 yrs and had enough, but do your research as the other reviewer mentioned it is not easy to move to the USA, I wish you all the luck and happiness though.
