The driving tests are a waste of time anyway. When I took mine in MA, driving inspector kept telling me to make illegal manouevres like cutting the corner at a turn. Not surprised people can't drive for sh*t here.

Blaming someone else ain't gonna help. Now, if you'd had an attorney, you could sue him/her for providing inaccurate information, etc.

You could be on a slippery slope...

It's basically a tourist visa for people who either are from countries that can't use the VWP, or people that have criminal convictions, or want to stay longer than 90 days.

Not quite sure why you would have relied on the Air Force to sort it all out for you My husband is AF and we did everything regarding visas ourselves, you could have filed DCF and already have your 10 yr GC

They are the one's that transfered us. We didn't mind paying for all the paperwork. We didn't expect that they would lie to us about how to go about things. A little bit of REAL help would have been nice.

That's the problem though, they probably wouldn't have a clue about it, well might have gotten lucky and had a jag lawyer that might have known sort of thing...but usually they don't...

We had an office at Mildenhall that dealt just with passports and visas they were brilliant.
We were lucky too as we were refunded by the AF the money we had paid for the visa.
