Default moving to the US with your belongings

We would like to move to the US on the same ship as our belongings. We have tried Cunard but they no longer offer this since the QE2 stopped going transatlantic. Does anyone know of an alternative? Thanks and Take care, Mike

Try cargo companies that do transatlantic business. It's not luxury but this will cover the two criteria you mention. This is what Michael Palin did in Around the World in 80 Days.

I assume you have the appropriate visa for your proposed trip?

Move only yourself and family, and sell/give away/ditch the belongings, and fly with a couple of suitcases. I guess it wouldn't work for everyone, but due to the exchange rate being fantastic for newly arrived folk, I reckon it works out cheaper to buy new once you get here, and a lot less hassle
