Moving from UK to US
Hi,
We're soon to move to South Florida where we're opening a new shop (franchise).
So many things to do and learn (business and home) so if anyone else has done the same and has any tips to share, it would be most welcome.
Things like best moving companies, health and dentistry, opening bank accounts, tax things to look out for......and probably a million things I've yet to worry about 😀
Thanks in advance!

Good luck in your new adventure!
As a franchise owner, are you to all intents and purposes self-employed, or do you get benefits from the parent company? Are they giving you any assistance with the move and getting settled, or are you doing it entirely by yourselves?

Welcome to BE and good luck!
A good starting point would be a look at the wiki, up top. Covers a lot of your questions, also have a quick search or just look down a bit, as a lot of your questions in general are asked regularly.
Some answers will be specific to where you plan to set up. Budget would also factor for most of them too.
