Moving out of state
My wife and I are moving from California to Nevada in two weeks time. Is there
anything special I should do? Who do I inform of the change of address?
TIA

The immigrant is supposed to notify the INS of the change of address within 10 days
of moving, and the sponsor(s) is to file an I-865 change of address within 30 days. I
would file to the new INS office and copy it to the service center, both certified.
If you have a green card, I think you can call the national INS hotline and do the
change of address by phone. If you do not yet have green card, use letter to INS.

Thanks for the quick response!
One question: I have a temporary green card (the one that expires after only 2
years). Can I still call the hotline?
