Moving money to the USA
Having lived in the US for a few years, we returned to the UK for just over a year. We are about to move back to the US for good and I would like to know what is the best way to move money over the $10K limit that you have to declare when carrying cash? If we were to to transfer a larger sums of money from our UK bank to our US bank account should we expect to have to pay any tax/ duty on it?
Does anyone know what's the most economical way of moving larger sums? We'd like to move money as a deposit on a house.
Looking for help as moving soon!
