Default Moving to Katy, Houston

In January and was looking for a recommended realtor to speak to regarding renting in the Katy area.

Not sure if we are going to go for an apartment or house etc or whether its even feasible to buy out there early on if you have a decent deposit even though no obvious credit lines.

Looking for a bit of advice really so just wondered if anybody could recommend someone to speak to

Thanks for your help

I'd happily recommend our realtor but would strongly advise against buying before you have lived here for a while. Even if you are certain you want to live in Katy, Katy itself is huge. Different areas offer different things. We rented for 3 years and have just bought.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense.

If you could drop me a note with your realtors details it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Thoroughly recommend Lorna Ramsey at Keller Williams - link to details attached.

http://www.har.com/AWS/AWS.CFM?AGENT_NUMBER=603252

She did an excellent job for us last DSeptember renting a house in Katy for our three year assignment.

Hope that helps,

I would second Lorna as a realtor. She hasn't done any work for me but I know lots of people she has done stuff for and she comes highly recommended.

Without doubt, lease first and look around to see what/where you really want.
