Moving to Dallas
 

Hi all!
Hoping that some of you may be able to help an excited but overwhelmed (and quite frightened!) individual, gain some knowledge on moving to Dallas with a young family.
We are moving there in June through my husbands employment and have been looking at the Rockwall area. Our children are 3, 6 and 9 and I just don't know where to start!
Firstly, can anyone recommend a child friendly area in or around Rockwall? (Kids to play with, good schools, no busy/fast roads). Are there any areas that we should avoid? Is there any schools that are particularly recommended?
Have a serious amount of digging to do!
Any amount of advice would be greatly appreciated :(

Welcome to BE and good luck!

Dallas has come up a fair bit, so might be worth searching the forums first, also city-data.com is a good site for local info as well, especially schooling.
